🚀 Grown, harvested, prepared by amazing chefs and on your plate – all in the same location within minutes.Â
🥗 This is now possible at Siemens in Frankfurt. It is a huge privilege for us to have found such as amazing partner and team with Siemens that shares our vision of the potential vertical farming has.Â
đź’š Last week, we took another step on our mission to use state of the art research to make food production accessible everywhere and to everyone.Â
⚙ By successfully setting up a hashtag#GreenResearcher at Siemens’ Frankfurt cafeteria in Gateway Gardens chefs Claus Diehm and Kai Pfadenhauer and staff are now able to see where parts of their produce comes from and how it grows. With limited involvement they can do the magic to grow food and create new dishes for their colleagues at Frankfurt.
👨‍🍳 The initiative has been a success, with microgreens, basil, and pak choi flourishing in the cafeteria environment. Up next are mint, the 7 herbs for the local dish frankfurter sauce and much more.
👩‍🔬 With our main focus still on research and technology innovators in the industry we want to bring the knowledge we gained into practice.Â
So if you are interested in integrating fresh produce into your cafeteria, restaurant, or kitchen, contact us to explore how our systems can enhance your offerings.
