Thrilled to share insights from my visit to FRUIT LOGISTICA and representing greenhub solutions GmbH in #Berlin.
The Dutch pavilion and was a highlight, where I connected with leading breeders, family-owned greenhouse growers, and top suppliers. A special shout-out to my fellow Wageningen University & Research alumni: remember to wear your Wageningen pin at such gatherings to celebrate our alma mater’s legacy, people notice!
The discussions on vertical farming’s future were enlightening, showcasing a spectrum of perspectives—from skepticism about replacing sunlight to excitement over AI’s role in full automation and hybrid systems. The diversity of technological solutions on display, from groundbreaking new technologies to AI, deep learning, nanobubbles, and tailored HVAC systems for various scales, was truly inspiring.
A huge thank you to everyone for the enriching conversations and insights. It was an invaluable experience, and I’m grateful for the connections made and knowledge gained.
