We just officially kicked-off our new #Impact #Accelerator – Sustainable Food Systems and welcomed on board seven promising impact startups:

🌿 SymBiotic Food GmbH – a modular, highly efficient sustainable food production system, running in ecological and biological #circular eco systems

🌿 CinSOIL – an AI-based software tool that supports #AgriFood businesses insetting carbon emissions at the farm level

🌿 EcoCheck – makes sustainable shopping easy and transparent

🌿 databaum – sensors and AI-solutions which increase the yield and save on water and pesticides spending 

🌿 greenhub solutions GmbH – mitigating resource scarcity by enabling indoor plant growth, and supplying plants with necessary water and nutrients.

🌿 Farmula GmbH – a seed-coating made from biochar allowing to apply a great variety of agricultural inputs directly to the seeds

During the eventful kick-off day we had the opportunity to gain insights into each team’s needs and ambitions. We then facilitated team and mentor connections.

In the evening, the teams presented their solutions to our community of fellow foodies, startups, and partners. 

From plant-based proteins, through sustainable consumer choices, and cutting-edge indoor-farming technologies, the range of solutions for more sustainable food systems was truly inspirational.
